Eating Healthy Isn’t Always Fun

Here are some of those health benefits I was talking about

• Wasabi is a root vegetable.
• It contains anti cancer chemicals called isothiocyanates which activate enzymes in the liver that detoxify cancer causing substances.
• It’s an anti-inflamatory. Research is being done to see if it can help in arthritis, asthma, and allergic reactions.
• It reduces risk of heart disease and stroke.
• One study showed that it has anti- bacterial effects.

    Heidi that is HALARIOUS!!! I love Wasabi but I would never ever eat that huge of a glob of it!!! But its good to know how good it is for you!!

    Thanks for the laugh. My husband LOVES that stuff, but I’m like you, a whimp when it comes to hot stuff. Maybe I’ll learn to love it since it is so good for me.

    Yeah that was way too much to eat but I am starting to eat it more now in small amounts.
